Today’s world is facing common challenges: how to reduce poverty, how to build a sustainable fair future, how to handle pollution issues, etc. Such issues sometimes divide our societies, but always call for collective commitment. Hong Kong is trying to assert itself today as a life-size laboratory of social innovation: many individual or collective approaches, entrepreneurs, associations, students started seek solutions to fill the gaps and to create social links in the modern society.
The event will offer a diversity of formats in different spaces: two panel discussions will examine the relationship between social innovation, commitment and community, workshops will invite participants to better understand issues related to sustainable development and social inclusion.
