++ About Rainer Windisch ++
Hailing from Basel, Rainer Windisch is a DJ, crate digger and passionate collector of obscure '60s and '70s funk and soul music from the African continent. Collecting and spinning funk and soul records since the mid 1990s, Rainer founded DJ collective Konzeptlos in 2000 with his long-time friend Daniel Henke. Under the same name, they curated a concert series at Basel's Kaschemme club inviting legendary African bands and artists such as Ebo Taylor, Haliu Mergia, Pat Thomas & Kwashibu Area Band and most recently Ghanaian funk artist ROB with an all-star band. Since 2009, alongside DJ Pun, Rainer was the resident DJ of Antz in the Pantz, a now legendary party series at Kaserne Basel, where he shared the decks with everyone from Quantic, DJ Format and J.Rocc, to JJ Whitefield, Ian Wright and Cut Chemist. Today, Rainer and DJ Pun also run bi-monthly party series AKWIAWA. Rainer has DJ'd everywhere from London and New York to Vienna and Dakar, playing obscure 45s from his far-ranging collection of vintage soul, funk and highlife from across Africa.

** About Megadon Betamax **
Australian producer, DJ and label owner Mostyn, aka Megadon Betamax, has been recording and releasing all manner of funk infused records for 20 something years. Now based in between Riyadh and Melbourne, Mostyn is known for his big boogie and disco-flavoured sounds under the guise of Megadon Betamax as a DJ and for the past 7 years has been releasing music through Voyeurhythm Records, which he co-founded with
fellow Adelaide drum machine heads, Ben Sun and Tyson Ballard. Over the years he's played alongside many of his favourite DJs and musicians including Dam Funk, Slow Hands, John Morales, Kenny Dope, Butch, Mad Mats, Hot Chip and Mr. Scruff.
Since leaving his second home in Dubai, Mostyn has put his (and co-conspirator James Locksmith’s) infamous DUST parties on hold to refocus on his studio work, including new material for his soul collab Abri & the Dreamfleet, new Megadon tracks and remixes for the likes of Inkswel.
Mostyn continues to travel, collect vinyl and DJ for special occasions however, recently popping up at parties in Greece, Berlin and Delhi. Synonymous with super eclectic sets full of good-time disco, heavy boogie and wonky italo vibes, Megadon Betamax guarantees dance-floor madness.
